INFORMATIOn

  • Combo brows, also known as hybrid brows, combine machine shading and manual hair strokes to create a versatile and dimensional look. This technique merges the natural-looking strokes of microblading with the soft, powdery effect of shading, achieved through a machine. We deposit pigment into the skin with precise, hair-like strokes complemented by strategic shading that builds up a gradient of color from lighter to darker. The result is a fuller, sculpted brow that retains a natural appearance but with enhanced definition and depth.

  • About a week before your appointment, it's best to skip any aspirin, ibuprofen, and supplements like fish oil and Vitamin E. We want to minimize any unnecessary bleeding, so keeping these out of your system will keep things safe.

Water should be your best friend leading up to your appointment. Staying well-hydrated really helps your skin heal better.

Now, about alcohol and caffeine—try to avoid these 24 to 48 hours before your session. They can make you more sensitive and more prone to bleeding, so it’s best to steer clear just to be safe.

Please avoid getting botox treatments for at least two-three weeks before your appointment. Also, keep away from laser and peel treatments, or renoils for two weeks pre-treatment.

One week out from your appointment, try to avoid any irritation around your brows by skipping any waxing or undergoing electrolysis.

  • We’ll provide you with complete aftercare instructions—both a printed copy and a verbal explanation—once your treatment is finished. Here’s a quick preview of what to expect in the days following your tattoo- Initially, your tattoo will appear more intense in colour and may be somewhat fake looking for a few days; this is completely normal! Within about 10 days, any flaky patches should fall away, and the true colour you chose will start to develop fully over the following 6 weeks.

The initial intensity of the colour depends on the pigment we select. If we choose a natural shade, your brows will look less intense.

  • Yes, touch-ups are typically needed.

    Initial touchup at 6-8 weeks.

Annual touchup every 18-24 months, depending on the specific technique used. Regular touch-ups help maintain the intensity and clarity of the colour as the pigmentation fades over time due to natural skin regeneration.

  • Here’s a quick day-by-day guide on what to expect as your brows heal:

Day 1-2: Right after the procedure, your brows will appear darker and more intense than the final result. This is normal and part of the process. There might be minimal swelling or redness, but it should subside within a couple of days.

Day 3-5: The color of your brows will start to soften gradually. You might notice some flaking or light scabbing—this is crucial for the healing process, so it's important not to pick or scratch your brows.

Day 6-10: Any scabbing or flaking will continue to clear up. It's essential to keep following your aftercare instructions to avoid infection and ensure optimal healing. The color might look lighter during this stage as the skin heals over the pigment.

Day 11-14: Your brows should be nearly healed. The color may still seem a bit lighter than expected, but it will start to darken slightly as your skin fully heals and the pigment settles.

Day 15-30: The true color and intensity of your brows will emerge as they fully heal. You’ll see the final soft, powdered effect. If there are any gaps or areas that need more pigment, a touch-up session can be scheduled to refine the look.
